Coral Ridge
Coral Ridge is one of Fort Lauderdale’s oldest neighborhoods and stretches from East Sunrise Blvd., north to East Oakland Park Blvd., and from the Intracoastal Waterway west to the Middle River. The majority of types of properties in Coral Ridge are single family homes but also include condominiums, town houses and duplexes. Located south of 26th street is Bayview Elementary School which is one of the best public elementary schools in South Florida.
The Coral Ridge neighborhood is a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown living, however, it still has many convenient businesses and activities surrounding it. Just off East Oakland Park Blvd is the Coral Ridge Mall with Publix Supermarket and Target as anchor stores. The Galleria mall is located on East Sunrise Blvd and Bayview Dr. The beach can be accessed via East Oakland Park Blvd and Sunrise Blvd. The George English Park has a boat launch, basketball court and tennis facilities. Residents are also able to enjoy the private clubs of Coral Ridge Yacht Club and Coral Ridge Country Club features some of the best golfing in East Fort Lauderdale.
Most of the properties to the East of Bayview Drive are on waterfront canals or point lots with direct ocean access. Properties sitting along the Middle River are behind the fixed bridge at Sunrise Blvd.
